We are excited to be introducing a new active travel initiative 'Wheelie Wednesdays'. This is designed to encourage as many children as possible to travel to school actively each Wednesday in the month of June We would encourage the children to cycle, scoot, skateboard or rollerblade to school. (Walking is also encouraged!)
If you live further away, you can still take part by parking in Islands Park or the Downs Road Car Park and then completing the rest of the journey actively.
When the children make an active journey to school during Wheelie Wednesday, they will be entered into a competition. The winners will be announced at the end of June.
Always remember to take care when crossing roads and wear the appropriate safety items, for example, wearing helmets. Thank you!
