'Yellow Day’ is on ‘World Mental Health Day’ which is happening on Friday 10th October this year.
Throughout the day, the children will be participating in a range of activities to help promote our mental health. We would encourage the children to wear something yellow along with their PE uniform.
To coincide with our ‘Yellow Day’ on Friday 10th October, we are also running a ‘Walking bus’. 🚍The bus stop is at: Islands Car Park (meet at the play park)
Please be at the bus stop at 8.30am, and we will be leaving at 8.35am to walk to school. Members of staff will be at the bus stop to lead the bus. The children should be accompanied by an adult/parent. The children will be provided with a fluorescent jacket if they are joining the walking bus.🦺
On arrival to school, parents/guardians are welcome into the hall for a cup of tea/coffee.
The children from P1-P7 will take part in a yellow wellbeing walk along the promenade, leaving school at 11.00am. Nursery AM, along with their parents, are welcome to join us for this walk. (Weather permitting)
