International Day of Play 11th June
8th Jun 2026
To mark the 'International Day of Play', children from Nursery - P7 will take part in a variety of indoor and outdoor play activities this Thursday 11th June. This day is designed to celebrate the joy and value of play in children's lives.
We want our pupils to enjoy and benefit from a range of screen-free play activities. This supports our Digital Citizen ‘ARMS’ values, which remind us of the importance of maintaining a healthy balance between our online and offline lives. By encouraging active, creative and social play away from screens, we help children develop important skills, build relationships and promote their overall wellbeing.
We ask that all children come to school dressed in their PE clothes on this day to ensure they are comfortable and ready to participate fully. Please also bring a coat too.
P6 will be attending a Cricket Blitz on Thursday (more information from Mr Swail) and P7 will be swimming as normal.
Thank you!
