♻NPS and NU Green Day♻ (Weather Permitting)

🟢Wear something green
This will be a non-uniform day but we ask that the pupils wear old clothes that they won’t mind getting dirty! We are ‘Going Green’ and would encourage the children to wear something green (socks, hairband, t-shirt, bracelet etc.)
🌷Bring a plant to school (Nursery-P7)
We ask that pupils bring in a small flowering plant (if you are able) so they can be planted in our school grounds.
The children can bring their plant in by Wednesday 29th April. Please label your child’s plant pot. The plants can be left in the containers outside the main school entrance. (These will be labelled with each class.) There will be containers at the Nursery and P1 entrances too.
🍏Green Break
Keeping with the green theme, we are going to have a ‘Healthy Green Break’. Bring in a healthy green snack. (Nursery- P3’s green snack will be provided for them)
🚍Walking Bus:
🚍BUS STOP -Islands Car Park (meet at the play park)
Please be at the bus stop at 8.30am, and we will be leaving at 8.35am to walk to school. A member of staff will be at the bus stop to lead the bus. The children should be accompanied by an adult/parent.
We would encourage as many of our pupils to travel actively to school on this day.
